This is the old timeline:
- year 0 : The world of dichotomy is created, by one/more gods.
- Year 10: the Archangels were given the mission to create other sentient beings.
Year 21: Lucifer falls?
(Insert a lull when humans are being developed and Lucifer is regathering his power?)
- Year 257: Humans are being shaped toward their final form?
- Year 257 and 1/2: Adam and Eve fall?
Around year 257: A being (angel or otherwise) called Epemetheus takes pitty upon the humans and gives them fire. His wife is the infamous Pandora. As a result of giving humans the fire, he his banished from (Heaven) and imprisoned in a mortal form, doomed to always be reincarnated and never to receive spiritual ascension (or descension). It is rumoured that Pandora also suffers a similar fate, although it's not entirely clear how her's differs.
- Year 257 and 3/4: Lucifer begins creating demons?
257-258: The time at which the infamous Pandora story takes place. The one with the innocent girl opening (or not opening) the box. Stories differ in their meanings/endings regarding this tale, and it is not certain if the box was actually opened or not. Some speculate that Lucifer was able to get his hands upon the box, and it was with this that he was able to create demons. Others say that Lucifer was able to create his own demons through his sheer hatred and malice, and that he seeks the box even to this day.
- Year 356: Lucifer creates the vampire virus(?) and develops the were syndrome (?) to try to pervert the human race and make it into his image rather than God's?
400 -> God responds to the Vampire virus and were virus with another which spreads and causes the already created virus to only transfer through a bite, or blood contact. He also blesses certain animals to give them the power of speech and higher level thought in order to create a natural buffer (limit) against the Weres/Vampires. His virus which was designed to prevent the spread-age of the were/vamp virus also inadvertantly affects some humans who were already vampires/weres and causes them to mutate into mutants.
405 -> Lucifer is angered by God's tampering with his virus, so he takes various lizards and bats and infuses them with his dark power creating Dragons.
- Year 406 the Magical energies in the world is discovered, Humans begin to use magic.
40,000 < Humans begin construction of the technological city
- Between 40,050 and 40,100 Other races begin making more frequent contact with the humans, demons, etc., trying to scope out the primitive world and discern the sentience of its creatures. Sightings of "UFO's" are common. (There has been some otherworldly activity before, but this would be about when it really picks up.)
40,100 < Grant power to machines to build machines
- 40,103 - Humans enter the Galactic Compact with several other off-world races, who jumpstart the humans' technological advances
Just Before 40,105 -> The Dark elves, who were one of the off-planet races, see their technology used in less-than-desirable ways. A rouge elf descends onto the planet and unleashes a computer virus which initiates the war between humans and machines.
40,105 < A computer virus spreads through set robots/computers that ultimately liberates them from control of the humans.
40,105 -> The dark elf flees the land of humans and machines after he hears word of a crashed shuttle, rumored, to be one of his race’s. He eventually discovers the ruins only to learn that some strange void has appeared ultimately destroying everything that was once the Dark Elve's space ships/planet. They are then forced to re-colonize and thus the city of the dark elves is born.
40,106 < War between humans and robots begins
40,700 -> Re-colonization is virtually complete. The Dark Elves now have a functioning city, and their numbers have increased dramatically.
40,108 < After heavy casualities, and almost total extinction, humans are forced to flee the city in order to preserve their own survival.
50,000 < Humans finally recover their numbers lost.
