"You're exactly right. But to me, you're still a bloody demon." Savvy echoed back. He knew he had very little chance against the devil himself, but since he won his own sword in a fair gamble, he figured he had a small cance. He was ever so tempted to interrupt and stop the devil in his tracks.

'I advise you not to do it, Savvy,' Mashayell, Savvy's demon katana echoed in his skull. Savvy tried hard to resist listening to his eternal companion.

'And why the bloody hell should I not, Mashayell?' Savvy asked.

'I may be an unbreakable blade, but even I cannot stand up against my former master. He isn't called the devil for no reason.' Mashayell replied. Savvy debated within himself whether he should listen or not.

Who...? Anya stood up stiffly, self-conciously brushing the pine needles from her hair and clothes and peered around Lucifer's insistent hand. Curiosity, always one of her most prominent traits, pushed forward and she stared openly for a moment at the newcomer. A human? A small frown flickered across her face.

"One last chance," Lucifer stated simply to Anya, "Sign or don't; I won't ask again."

Biting her lip anxiously, longingly, hopefully, she turned her golden eyes back to the parchment hovering just below her nose. Unfortunately, with the coming of the stranger, the were's concentration was broken, the urgency Lucifer had planted there fluttering away from her mind like clouds scuttling from the sky. Still, though, the sight of the parchment pulled her back to confusion.

D---it, I know better than this. Anya steeled herself, tearing herself almost audibly from the hope of her redemption and snatched up the parchment.

"You know, Lucifer," she snarled, looking over the contract cursorily, "you tried this before." Anya immediately tore the parchment into tiny fragments, tossing it into the air like confetti and spitting at his feet.

"I'll never accept you," the were sneered, her limbs beginning to shake under Lucifer's baleful stare and her own tension. "Go away."

She turned her back to the Devil, and stared down to Restaul longingly, feeling the full weight of her decision and deciding to completely ignore any scuffles or cries of indignition behind her that might result. Nestling her hands in the small of her back, she stood ramrod straight, struggling to clear her mind and holding back the hot tears that had appeared yet again on her cheeks.

Savvy smiled to himself and hid once again behind the corner. A slight chuckle escaped his throat and he was anxious to see the devils' reaction.

"Good for you, lady," he said ever so quietly. He held his hand on his sword in case the devil attempted to attack.

Lucifer froze for a split second after Anya made her final decision. Then, without a second thought, the paper faded into non-existence amid smoky tendrils of darkness. He then straightened his posture and adjusted his coat as a rather blank look replaced his previous charismatic and animated face. He then tilted his head from side to side as chilling cracks issued forth from it.

“I hope you realize the consequences of this decision,” Lucifer spoke slowly and enunciated every syllable. He then paused for a moment as a faint smile tickled the corner of his lips, “Then again… I see you’ve already begun to think about what could have been”

Without turning his back Lucifer spoke, “So Savvy, pray tell, what do you want?” Although Lucifer didn’t await his response, “If it’s a fight you want I’m afraid I must disappoint you.”
He then feigned a pouty lip as if he was offended, “Now when have I ever done something as terrible as that. Really you guys are too much” His tone was heavily sarcastic and he rolled his eyes several times as if to illustrate his point.

Savvy chuckled to himself quietly. He had no intention of fighting the devil himself, but he was prepared should something happen. The icy tone the devil took with him slid off of his back like it was nothing.

"Simply walking about, Lucifer. I would like to highlight on the fact that my presence here is strictly coincidental. However, I do find it entertaining that your temptation failed, no offense intended. I wish to see what happens next," Savvy explained, walking out in the open and revealing his pressence to the both of them.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 EmptySun Nov 29, 2009 6:22 pm

The were had almost stumbled forward, hunching her back protectively and squinting her golden eyes against Lucifer's words as they penetrated her heart and made her gasp for breath. Instead, under the power of her will and the threat of falling off the steep outcrop, Anya stood stock still.

Just go away, the were moaned inwardly, wishing with all of her broken heart that both of the intruders would disappear and leave her in peace. The were needed time to mourn what was now most certainly lost. Yet, the two were simply standing around chatting as if they were sitting in a parlour room waiting for afternoon tea.

Lips tightening and cheeks drying of tears, Anya felt her emotions sway. Her cheeks flushed a hot, angry red and her long fingers curled into angry fists as she gritted her teeth. "GET THE F--- OUT OF HERE!!" she whirled on them and screamed, her voice rough with emotion, snarling with anger, and powerful with fury.

The were almost didn't care - almost rejoiced - as she felt the red, jagged needles of Change rip in waves over her skin. Internally, the Wolf began overlapping her senses, turning the moonlit night to bright as day, dulling her concious thought and turning it to pictures, sounds, and smells. She snarled wordlessly again at the intruders, still human in body, but Wolf in mind.

Tala was drifting through the pine trees and playing her gameboy color with the annoying music of a pokemon game blaring loudly and a flashlight held between the side of her face and her shoulder. She was in a heated battle with her rival and had been losing. She was using her wolf instrincts to walk lazily though the woods so she could continue playing. She sat on a log near the tree line and continued to play her game.

Suddenly she smelled something familiar and heard the echo of someone yelling loudly. Unable to ignore this unusual pull towards this situation she quickly stuffed her gameboy in her leather backpack and walked curiously towards the sound and smell.

The closer she got the stronger the scent got. It was a wolf she could tell. Just as she realized this she could see the form of a person giving off this strong smell she knew so well. She stopped and stared at the girl unable to take her eyes off her.

Savvy looked back and forth between everyone present. He knew bloody well a fight was fixing to brew, and he had no intention of getting stuck in the crossfire, yet, for some odd reason, he wanted to stay. To protect them from Lucifer, if only a little. He had to be quick with his decision, or it could mean all of their lives. Within seconds, he made his decision.

"Let's everyone calm down here. No need to make a mess of things. Lucifer, can't you simply stroll about in some other bloody village for pity's sake? Do you not have other deals to attend to other than this one?" Savvy inquired. He hoped he could avoid a fight at all costs.

His attention quickly turned to their new guest. She was a curious girl, but by the color of her eyes, he knew she was no human. She was also quick and nervous looking. She had to be a were. He noted how she simply stared at the other were whose tantrum was only miliseconds from breaking. If something didn't stop her, there wouldbe bloodshed.

'Savvy,' his sword said, 'this newcomer knows the pissed were.'

'Are you certain?' Savvy asked through their mental link.

'Yes!' Came the response. Savvy suspiciously watched the newcomer were...

Intruder! Anya's instincts snarled, snapping her head around and focusing on the newcomer. On the heels of the first thought, another, calmer thought scurried in. Friend?

The Wolf recognized the girl's scent, but at the moment, couldn't recall from where; at any rate, she was categorized as a neutral, and Anya's attention swung back to Lucifer and the strange humanoid with Him. A moment's distraction rendered her off-kilter and unsure, and she swayed for a silent moment on the brink of Change.

Anya blinked, shook her head, and the moment was gone. A reverberating rumble roiled from her chest to the cool autumn air, menacing and dangerous as it slipped through her enlongating fangs. Rip, her mind howled, Kill, slash, tear. The feel of her hands widening, Changing to paws was almost ecstasy; the coiled strength of her body an unholy joy; the waves of pain a release; the clouding of her conciousness a relief.

Savvy drew his katana, not knowing what should really be done. He knew a were converted was bad news, but he wondered if it was possible to get her to change back without having to wait months at a time. He looked over at Lucifer, who was laughing hysterically, like he had never seen some so funny in his entire long and unnatural life. It made Savvy bloody sick.

'Savvy,' his sword began, 'run. This were is not safe to be around as a wolf. It would take God himself to heal her of this plague.'

'Well that's just great since Humans NOR demons are alowed into the hirearchy without accompaniment of an angel!' Came Savvy's curt reply.

'Do you remember Heleyna? She can help us- err, rather you.'

Savvy ran towards their new guest, not knowing on whether she was fixing to change or not, and tugged on her arm. He knew weres had an acute sense of smell, but he could at least try to save as many as he could.

"Come on, lady, we need to get out of here," Savvy said, remembering she may very well be a were. He didn't pay any mind to that, were or not, as long as she was in her human state, she was in danger, and he hated seeing people get hurt. Especially women.

Tala ignored the man telling her to retreat. Her backback slipped off her shoulder landing on the pine needle covered ground. Her irises dilated as the other wolf changed. She couldn't move, couldn't look away, she was rooted to the ground.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 EmptyThu Jan 14, 2010 11:00 pm

The wolf took no notice of the newcomer, finishing her final Changes and snarling at the man. Lucifer had long gone, his hologram fading back into the night, sneering at the group, but this intruder remained. Her golden eyes narrowed as the man turned his back to her as if she wasn't there.

It was like a challenge, a snuff at her power, and an insult of the highest order. The silver wolf's hackles rose as a growl rumbled up her throat as her muscles coiled and tensed. The Wolf demanded that the were leap on the impudent fool and slash his unprotected throat, but what was left of her rational mind restrained her. He must've been at least moderately dangerous to stand up to Devil Himself.

Then, he began to trot away. What little restraint she still had broke and the were bounded after him. Chase, her mind whispered, Catch.

If the Change was release, running was ecstasy. the silver wolf shadowed the man's footsteps, hanging just out of sight, sound, and sense, but close enough so she could track him. The wolf grinned. He is a tricky one... her golden eyes sparkled maliciously, but he will not escape. She followed him for a distance, enjoying her stealth and the thrill of the hunt.

"WAIT!" Tala yelled at the silver wolf. She felt unusually drawn to her she had been away from other wolves for so long that the smell and aura of another wolf mad her want more contact. "Please wait! He's not worth it!" Tala's hairs were standing on end, her body tingled, and her head felt light. Her knees gave out and her vision went fuzzy. "Wait." She said weakly.

Rakel shifted as he felt a tremble in the air. "A were is shifting, and not by choice" he thought as he ran. As he came to the clearing he barely caught a movement in the trees and saw the were running. Her scent, its familiar, his mind told him. He followed the trail careful to stay down wind of her knowing the danger she could be and not wanting a fight. As he ran the muscles in his body lost all tension, he was finally alive again after all those months hiding his true self.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 EmptyTue Feb 02, 2010 10:14 pm

The Wolf caught a hint of a scent on the breeze, proceeded by a soft whump as the other female were collapsed behind her. Her swerving, bounding path through the trees stopped short, as she paused. Her forepaw lifted questioningly, as if to ask why they weren't following the vanishing prey while her eyes and ears swiveled around cautiously. After the Wolf took another whiff, she relaxed, her paw resting on the Earth.

Nothing; at least nothing out of the ordinary. The scent of an intruder had disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. She shook her head vehemently. With her intended prey out of both her territory and sight, if not smell, she wasn't as compelled to chase him. A shred of her humanity returned. He's gone now, there's no need to follow, her human self whispered nervously, trying to soothe the clamor of emotions welling within the Wolf's breast.

We will wait to kill, the Wolf snarled wordlessly, sending a heavy rumble after the man, to echo around his heels like thunder. We will not forget.

Instead of following, the Wolf snorted and instead raised her silver muzzle to the sky, reveling in the full moon's opalescent shimmer, the soft thrum of the living Earth beneath her paws, the brisk wind as it whispered through the trees. Grinning a toothy, feral grin, the Wolf let out a yip and tore off back to the outcrop, leaping over the female's crumpled body nimbly and staring down at the tiny, dazzling lights of the town.

Shouldn't you help her? the human whined weakly, trying to tickle the Wolf's conscience, She is your kind, you know.

The Wolf rolled her eyes and conceded after a few moments more of wheedling and cajoling. Weakling, the Wolf trotted over to the girl and made a whuffling, sniffing sound in her dark hair. Glaring balefully at the fallen girl, the Wolf sat back and waited for the impudent snip to arise.

Anya settled back further into the corner she had claimed within the Wolf's mind. She was terrified of what she called "the Wolf." Anya hated it for its ferocity and indiscriminate passions. It was the whole reason she had been cast out from her own kind; this Wolf had stolen her life and shattered her future. Refusing it with all of her might, she would keep this demon repressed for months before it could emerge as it had now, forcefully ripping Anya from her own mind and filling it instead with its own images and ideas. She was as revolted as she was drawn to it. Every fibre of her being rejected the Wolf's presence, but - though she would never admit it - the Wolf entranced her; it was a flame to her moth, a Sun to her Icarus. It was as much a part of her as her beating heart, and had she the compassion and care to observe it, would find this "Wolf" to be simply a release of her own passions. Still, Anya instead hid from it or hid it from anyone.

The girl imagined herself to be curled up in the corner of her own mind, waiting for the Wolf to tire herself out and allow Anya to return. Wincing and whimpering, Anya watched carefully, only speaking in her soft, despairing voice when the Wolf began being especially feral.

Raven, in his wolf form, walked slowly into the scene, savoring each scent and assessing the situation. He carried himself proudly on all fours, making sure it was known that he was an alpha. He heard plenty of noises and the calamity of chases and hunts taking place. He wanted to know what was going on. It was a natural curiosity that drove him to find these sort of situations.

Raven snapped to attention as he caught a familiar scent. It was a female smell, a very angry and territorial female. Don't do it, the true Raven called to him. The wolf knew better and knew Raven didn't want any attention of any sort, but he could help himself. He had to know what was going on.

He continued walking until he spotted the wolf who the smell belonged to sniffing another what seemed like a dead girl on the ground. Raven remained hidden from sight, curious at who they were and why the wolf smelled so familiar to him. He remained as quiet as he possibly coud, making sure no noise was made.

Get away from there, Raven called, I don't need anymore company following me. Let them go, they don't need to be bothered. This is pointless.

Rakel watched as the female sniffed the fainted girl. Deep in his mind he knew who she was and he talked to brother wolf telling him this. "This is the woman from before. But why did she change? She seemed so hidden from it." He ask. As he lay there watching part of his mind was lost in the soul of the world. He was aways connected to it but rarely chose to visit due to its extreme nature. While his mind drifted it sensed a change. Someone had arrived.

Intrigued as he was he still decided not ot move for the two females were between him and this stranger. Unless he poses a threat or challenges me i shall leave him be. For now. He then continued to study the changing tempo of the world around him. Each life its own pulse. To truly be one with the world, that is what his wolf brings to him.

Rakel laid on the cool ground as the scene unfolded and watched closely, but kept himself hidden.

Tala's eyes fluttered open and the smell of two more wolves filled her nostrils. She hadn't seen another wolf in so long that she had been overcome with nostalgia about how much she missed the company of another wolf. The pine needles made a great cushion for her fall considering her head only hurt a little. She sat up and pulled some needles out of her hair.
"Oww." she mumbled and rubbed her head.
Tala turned around and looked the silver wolf in the eyes momentarily and then bowed her head in a submissive gesture. She wasn't here to stay or take territory she was just passing through on her destination to nowhere.

Raven looked on in interest and curiosity at the gestures the human were made at the silver wolf sitting contently in it's claimed area. He wanted to know more and more about other weres, since he had never really been around many at all in his life. Both Ravens were curious and began to think as one.

Raven began to lick his black coat of long hair contently as he waited for any other curious reactions. He knew they weren't bothered by his prescence, from what he could tell, so he showed no signs of leaving. He began to enjoy being around these wolves. It felt odd to him.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 EmptyWed Feb 10, 2010 12:52 am

The Wolf glared territorially down at the girl as her eyes fluttered open, but her eyes softened as the other female were made small gestures of peace. Emitting a soft growl of understanding, the silver wolf stood and regarded the other female almost with curiosity. She stood almost a head and shoulders above the girl as the newcomer sat on the bed of pine needles that Anya herself had recently slept in. The Wolf stayed tense and snorted softly as she flicked her silver muzzle to the side in an obviously dismissive gesture.

Though the wolf could feel the eyes of two potential Alphas bearing down on her, she did nothing more than bristle silently. So many wolves in one place made her exceedingly nervous, and thus, cautious. In the little town of Restaul, the only were to ever visit was Anya, and she had never been in the company of more than one were at a time. Those brief moments of wolven companionship were so few and far between that they barely broke Anya's self-enforced solitude.

Her golden eyes flicked to where two shadows hid among the trees, one white, one black. Her ears flicked back and her fangs became momentarily visible as she bit back a territorial snarl. Best to be cautious, she warned herself, Only one at a time... Eyes jumping back to the first invader, she again acted as if to nudge the girl away, this time with a dangerous, low growl.

Sensing a change in the flow of emotions around him Rakel snaped out of him trance and begin watching. although he knew the were was awake again he hadnt really given her a good look. Dismissing her as the cause his thoughts turned to the newcomer. I cant tell what his intentions are. brother wolf spoke to Rakel.

As the time went on he became aware of a challenging air about. Knowing once before this same ripple he began to settle himself to letting the wolf fully take over. As his body began to slightly ready for an attack he tried to figure out who was in danger and who was the danger. Wondering if it could be prevented he decided to reveal himself. Knowing all to well that any were as close as they all were would know of every other one around and none were truly hidden.

With a cautious walk he approached the clearing trying to stay relaxed and not appear a threat, but still keeping ready to fight at a moments notice. At this is was well to practice. Suddenly he remembered that she had only seen him in human form, hoping his scent would be enough he paused as his entire form left the safety of the trees.

Tala knew she needed to leave the female wolf's territory and the fastest way to do that was transform. She hadn't transformed voluntarily in a long time choosing to stay in human form because of the added activities like playing a gameboy. She stood and bowed her head again to the silver female wolf and disrobed packing all of her clothing and shoes quickly into her backpack. It was a bit chilly outside to her bare skin but it wouldn't matter momentarily.

She closed her eyes and stood naked in the forest feeling the breeze against her skin. She opened her eyes, her pupils dilated and immediately her vision sharpened. She could feel her bone structure changing and her senses becoming heightened. She loved being in wolf form. She was in full control and felt wonderful.

Picture of what she looks like in wolf form minus the collar.
Restaul, Outskirts - Page 2 11906611

She shook out her black and white peppered fur and stretched. Why didn't she do this more often. Again Tala bowed in another submissive gesture to the female wolf and picked up her pack in her mouth to go. She trotted a few steps towards the edge of the forest and noticed that one of the male wolves had shown himself. She stopped walking and stared at him curiously.

Raven rose to his feet, feeling as if she were suspecting him of challenging her. He found it quite curious and irritating that there was a territorial female out there where most alphas, such as himself, were most usually male. Raven trotted closer a little more slowly, to make sure no one was alarmed or alerted of his prescence. He was a peacekeeper, and he would show them.

Raven stopped and waited for the growling wolf to look over in his direction. He was going to bow in respect of her territory, and welcome himself as a guest in a foreign land. He only needed her approval. Though fights never scared him or caused him to worry, he didn't like getting into them. They were messy and unneeded.
