Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyFri Feb 12, 2010 12:46 am

Anya felt a pang of disgust and longing at the other female's easy transformation to a salt-and-pepper wolf with sparkling eyes. She does it so easily. If the were hadn't been encompassed by the Wolf, she would have blushed at the ease with which the female shed her clothes beforehand, As it was, she merely looked away, glancing towards the white wolf as he stepped forward.

Her muzzle puckered in a frown as the snowy fur came into sight. As the female paused and looked back, Anya tensed. "Why are you here?" she demanded, shifting her stance to watch all three intruders cautiously. This white wolf's scent seemed familiar, but the young were didn't have enough experience to place it.

Golden eyes flicking to the black wolf's hideout, she snapped at him. "Why don't you just come out? I can see you just as well as the others."

Why the H--- are they all here? the Wolf wondered, unduly unnerved, This is the only place I have. They aren't going to steal it from me, are they? Her strong facade never faded, but the Wolf was worried. What was going to happen? She had never been around so many fellow wolves at once and had been avoiding similar companionship for time immemorial.

PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyFri Feb 12, 2010 12:59 am

as the young female began to change rakel dropped his gaze out of respect of a stranger. As she approached however he stood tall to let her see what he was but did not step to block her way. If she wishes to leave then so be it. It may just be safer. As he let her fade out of his mind he looked twords the other female. She was staring at him. As she spoke to him he lowered his hind legs and then his eyes fell to her chin. He would not challenge her. He had no claim on this land and did not want a fight.

As she called to the black male. rakel let his eyes dart over to catch a good glimpse of him now that he was closer and had more light.

"I have not come to challenge you to your land." Rakel said to her. "My name is Rakel. I passed near here on my travels a few moons ago and thought to return recalling the scent of a were in the area."

tred with care brother wolf said to rakel since he knew more of what could happen. I feel as if she is unsure of herself and now she has two dominant males near her home. Cautious is best.

Raven stood out a little more in the sunlight, revealing the black ocean of fur covering his body like a radient mane of a black lion. He wanted to chuckle only a little at the female were. He could tell she was worried he would try to dominate her home land. Raven had no need for it. He simply wanted to stay and watch this group, to be in the prescence of a few other weres just for a little while. And since there was another Alpha there, he may get the chance to learn what it's like.

"forgive me, I wasn't trying to hide. My coat seems to make others think that, but I wasn't. I mean no harm, by the way. Your land and home here is perfectly fine and I assure you, I don't need it." Raven assure. He made it clear that he had no intention of taking any land. He allowed the weight of his prescence as an alpha to fall over them all to give them a sense of honesty from him.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptySun Feb 14, 2010 2:32 pm

The were still glared at the three suspiciously. Anya believed the other wolves, even if the Wolf did not, and she stirred from her corner. We're fine, Anya sighed, relieved.

The Wolf's body relaxed slowly, even as she narrowed her eyes furiously at the intruders. The pale fingers of dawn that painted the sky gave her an almost ethereal look as she inched back towards the trees, head held high and tail erect. D--- you, not now! snarled the Wolf inwardly, but the Change had already begun. The Wolf's time was up. Her lip curled up in a silent snarl as her paws began shuddering in the soft pine needles.

"I trust you can all disappear soon enough, then," the Wolf growled shakily, disappearing into the woods.

D-D--- you! the Wolf howled inwardly, taking awkward leaps away from the trio. She had to get away from the three before they could discover her embarrassingly weak human counterpart. What do you think you're doing? the Wolf nearly howled in anger, They're full weres; they could kill you with their legs tied and a muzzle on.

The Wolf missed a step, feeling the hot pins-and-needles of the Change rip up her legs as she tripped and fell. D--- you, she whispered.

A few more moments of gut-wrenching pain and writhing on the forest floor, and Anya lay there panting, pale, and exhausted. Flexing her hands slowly, relief flooded her mind. I'm back. Though the girl could feel the Wolf raging at her in some small corner of her mind, it was only a small voice, and the were enjoyed the peace of the moment.

Oh, geez, Anya thought, blushing as she sat up. I'm naked. She looked back to where her backpack must be; through the trees and back at the feet of the other wolves. The girl decided to simply hide until they had decided to wander away. She picked herself off the ground and waddled away, self-consciously covering herself.

Tala watched the female wolf run off. She walked back over and sat on the girl's stuff protectively. She didn't care whether the other two wolves were passing through or not. But the female was the first were she had come into contact with since that time she deserted her pack. She wanted to ask questions and spend some time with her.
Tala closed her eyes and rested until the male wolves departed.

Rakel looked at the trees after the female had departed. Realizing how new she was to still be moon called he decided it best not to follow. As he began to turn he noticed the other were guarding the first females belonging. Hmph. Seems as if she has some sort of issue leaving. he told brother wolf.

As Rakel left the clearing he gave one last glance to the other male and decided to leave him be. If they met up again, then he would ask questions. Running through the forest he reached the spot where he had left his clothes and sword. Calling on the forest to reveal them he changed back to his human form and reclaimed what was his.

He then slowly walked his way to a smaller clearing not far from where the encounter took place and listened to all the happenings around.

With the first rays of the sun still showing, Rakel sat on the nearest rock and began to clean his ancient blade.

Raven looked at the woman as she retreated into the woods. The man inside his head finally broke forth, screaming all the while. Ripples violently shook the wolf's body as it slowly returned to it's natural from. Raven had emerged finally as his normal Elven form. He looked up in the direction Anya had fled. Looking down, he noticed he only had his pants. He looked around for something to give to her to clothe her so he could talk with her.

He finally saw her items and bags, but a were gaurded it carefully. Raven knew he had to get her off of those clothes somehow.

"Excuse me, noble wolf," he began respectfully, "I need those clothes you're watching. I'm going to give them to Anya. I need to talk to her. Please don't make this hard."

Raven waited for a response, shivering as the cool wind hit his naked chest and stomach.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyThu Feb 18, 2010 11:39 am

Anya crouched miserably at the base of a tall pine. Although she was still "running hot" from her Change, she shivered. The Wolf had returned. Why the f--- did you do that?! snarled the Wolf. The girl winced, nearly able to see the glowering ghost of her other mind pacing furiously back and forth before her. You didn't know we were safe. You just assumed! I have to live in this weak, pathetic body of yours, Anya bared her teeth and wrinkled her brow unconsciously as the Wolf roared at her, So if you die, I do too!

Switching back to herself, the girl hugged her knees to her chest as the voice of the Wolf rang in her ears. "I never wanted you here anyway," she whispered quietly, the venom rising in her voice to match the Wolf's own, "You ruined my life. You killed me. Why should I worry about killing you?"

Because I am a part of you! Without me, you are nothing! You, tiny snippet of a girl, I could make you great, I could make you more powerful than you could have ever imagined, yet you still reject me. I want this body, the Wolf howled, And if you will not allow me to use it, I will take it.

Anya's eyes flashed open, and an anguished howl of denial ripped from her throat and echoed through the forest. In town, a little boy on the outskirts of the village looked up anxiously to the trees. "You will not, d--- you! This is my body, not yours! Get back to your cage!"

She envisioned the Wolf being pulled away, snarling and writhing in anger until it was locked away in a quiet corner of her mind, pacing furiously and snapping at anything that came near. Anya shivered again and looked around. Her jaws ached from clenching and there were deep gouges in the soft loam and the bark of the tree behind her, but at least the Wolf was gone; safely squirreled away until the time came that it again broke free. The girl huddled herself into a little ball. I'm so tired, she whimpered, feeling her eyelids droop, I... I can sleep for a moment. Her golden eyes slid shut and the cares of the world were lifted from her shoulders for a brief time.

Tala's eyes snapped open as a young man walked up to her and pleaded for her to abandon her post on top of the girls bags. She growled a low deep throaty growl of warning to back off. She waited for a moment then let go of her own bag and sat up.

She turned around and was enveloped in white light. She felt her bones change back into human form, her fur retreating into her skin, and the cool breeze hit her naked body as she fully changed back. She quickly dressed and stood over the girl's and her own stuff collectively. The pine needles were soft under her human feet. She stared up into the man's eyes searching for something.

"You're a were aren't you?" she accused. He was and he was male. Old memories from her time in a pack came back to her. Painful memories. A breeze happened by and blew into her back. Her hair flying up by her cheeks and the trees rustling their leaves together. Her facial expression of distaste unchanged from before still looking at the man and waiting for an answer.

PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyTue Feb 23, 2010 1:59 am

Rakel sat patiently as the scene unfolded. It seemed to him as if the first were was going to stay hidden for the time being. It would be a kind gesture to bring her something to wear. Brother wolf spoke to him. Aye but what to bring since we have so little. Rakel replied. With that he had an idea.

As the younger were changed back into her human form Rakel decided that now would be the best time to approach the situation fully. As the sun still shined off his blade Rakel sheathed it and prepared to move out again. The ground under his bare feet pulsed with the life around. Mother earth was truly alive today.

With the wind to his back and the forest moving around him Rakel emerged from his clearing into the next where the weres were in human form talking. "What is the problem here? Are your senses dull?" He asked knowing that to any self aware were this would be a ruse. "Your sister lays nearby without her belongings and she has recently changed into human form. Why have you not offered to bring her her clothes? And why do you lody still guard them as if they were your own."

Rakel took in the faces and scents of both of them. Sooner or later he would have to get a name to put with the faces but that could wait. As they stood there the wind blew about them all and in it he felt a whisper. The world was shifting. Something was coming but what he wasn't to sure of. One day he would have to revisit the elves and learn more, if they were still around by then.

"Yes, milday, I am the only were of my kind. I am and elven were. Now, please hand me her belongings to give to her, or take them yourself, it does not bother me, but your sister were needs--" Raven stopped as he could feel the bonding of a great demonic prescence fill his soul. He trembled and fell to his knees, wishing it weren't true, but all the legends his own clan of elven druids spoke were spoken for a reason. They were prophesies. He closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. It has begun... Oh how terrible our fates will be... For the one who will claim the throne of Lucifer has finally realized his destiny... He thought to himself. Dred and dispair fill his heart.

He looked over at the other alpha who had approached while he was attempting to help. The were was chastising them both for talking rather than taking clothes to the other one.

"Forgive me, my friend. And I am sorry I... Blacked out, milady. The human alpha is correct; the other girl needs her clothes. It is nearly winter and these nights are cold..." Raven said as he drifted off into his own thoughts. He couldn't help but to try and think of what the elven druids had in mind for dealing with such a threat.

"I was going to take them because you lack the required parts for it to not be awkward. I was going to wait until you left but it seems I have no choice." Tala snipped at the two males. They irritated her so. Weres who were part of her former pack or male weres pissed her off. She snatched up her backpack putting it on and then picked up the other females stuffed and walked into the woods fuming from her encounter with the men.

She calmed herself down a little and searched for the female's scent. When she found it she walked over and opened up the girls pack and found a blanket. She covered the female in it and sat down on the ground that was strewn with pine needles. She pulled out her gameboy color again to play more pokemon to pass the time while the girl slept. Tala had so many questions.

PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyTue Feb 23, 2010 12:26 pm

It was an hour later when Anya awoke slowly, enjoying the soft feel of a blanket against her bare skin. Blearily, she stretched and yawned in the early morning sun. That was a good nap, she murmured pleasantly to herself and turned over again, curling up.

A number of words tried to jumble out of her mouth at the same time as she opened her eyes to see a stranger sitting nearby and staring at her intently over a hunk of plastic suspiciously shaped like a Gameboy. The were would have been up and away in an instant if she had not been stopped by the trunk of the tree behind her and noticed the backpack at the other girl's feet. "Who are you, why are you here and why have you got my stuff?" Anya bristled.

Then she caught the girl's scent. A were, her lip almost curled in disgust. I've been followed. Anya sat up a little straighter and pulled the blanket around her a little more tightly as she glared at the girl angrily.

After the female left with the other's belongings Rakel then turned to face the other male. Having been watching him, Rakel knew that this were was very dominant and possibly an Alpha if given the chance. This were was smart and resourceful. Help him find his power. Brother wolf spoke to Rakel. He is Alpha but needs guidance.

"My name is Rakel, Free Alpha, Heir to the lead of the Northern Pack, and protector of my village. Who are you and what brought you to this place." Having truely identified himself, Rakel watched the words and power of his position float about this were. I shall not push him here. I have no need to bind him. Rakel told himself as Brother wolf agreed.

Tala quickly saved her game and stuffed it into her backpack. She grabbed the girl's things and crawled towards her till her face was about 6 inches away holding the backpack beside her face. She stared at the girl curiously. "The two stupid males both wanted to bring your stuff to you. I said no. You're female, I'm female and I have a few questions then I'll be gone never to return." Tala said this straight faced and serious.

She was acutely aware of the male weres not to far away. She wondered why they didn't leave. The pine needles were soft on her palm and as the wind blew through the trees the shadows changed on the girl's face.

"Well met, Rakel. I am called Raven. I have no assumed authority over any pack particularly since there is not a pack I am an heir to. You see, I was once an elf before I was converted to this present form. You see my predicament," Raven explained. He was tempted to bow in respect to Rakels' position, but he felt that would be too formal. Instead, he outstretched a hand to shake.

"What brought me to this place, however, I cannot say. I suppose chance, or fate. In any case, I am here now and am uncertain of where my next destination is." Raven said.

The were sent a hand from under the blanket, questing after her backpack. D---it, they're still here? she growled inwardly. Her eyes flicked side to side suspiciously as she snatched the backpack and hid it, along with her arm, under the blanket.

Anya continued avoiding the girl's face and flushed, flustered as she murmured a soft "Thank you," and started rummaging through the pack beneath the blanket. A few moments of soft rustling later, and the were poked her head up through the hole again, now fully clothed under the blanket. She still avoided the other were's eyes, but Anya was curious now. "What do you want to know?" Anya asked, flicking her eyes to the stranger's face and back away.

Tala sat back and waited for her to get dressed. When the girl was ready Tala took a deep breath. She was actually nervous. How would this girl react to what went on in her pack. She steeled herself and jumped right in. "Did you every have a formal pack?" She started out with this simple question. No use in continuing to ask questions if this girl had never been in a pack before.

Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Restaul, Outskirts   Restaul, Outskirts - Page 3 EmptyWed Feb 24, 2010 10:07 pm

Anya stopped dead, frozen with surprise. Pack? The were had to search for the meaning of the word for a moment before she could answer a flat, emotionless denial.

She couldn't stop the animosity that welled in her chest, even though this were had been kind so far. "Why would I ever want to live with animals?" she spat furiously. A twinge of fear touched her spine as the were realized that the person she was conversing with was also a were, but she held her ground and simply stared back. It wasn't that she hated the weres; it was just what they represented that disgusted her. One of her closest friends when she was younger had been a black werelion by the name of Quall.

To tell the truth, though, much of the prejudice she had picked up as a child still tainted her opinion of the world of weres, despite her friend. "Animals!" they'd told her, "Monsters! Disgusting, feral beasts! Nothing good ever comes from them! Abominations!" The stories they'd told and the things that Anya had seen with her own eyes scarred her; the malicious glitter of the Wolf's eyes in a pool's reflection, the sight of a were indiscriminately attacking humans, her own bitter joy from the hunt.

Tala could tell that the girl disliked weres. She looked down and started "I'm inclined to agree with you. It was violent and the alpha beat the women. A lot of bad things happened so I ran away. I don't know where to go so I just drift and that's how I ended up here. I haven't seen another were in a long time. Much less three in one place." She looked over to the place where the males were till conversing. "I wish they'd leave. They piss me off abusive a**holes." she made a disgusted face and looked back at the girl waiting for a response.

Rakel heard what was said. He then returned Raven's handshake and pondered the situation. "I had once visited with the elves but was not aware that they were able to be turned. This does place you in a very strange predicament." Rakel said. This was a strange case. If an elf can be changed in to were what else might they become. Or who all could be turned. Rakel spoke about with brother wolf. This could prove dangerous knowledge. Brother wolf replied.

Having spoken with brother wolf Rakel decided to learn more about Raven. "You said that you do know know what lies ahead on your journey. I have been wandering for many moons. We wonder if you would be opposed to a companion wherever your next journey leads."

Anya frowned, digesting the tidbit and chalked it up to another atrocity by the animalistic weres. She could feel a flutter of sympathy for the girl as she finally met her bright eyes. She made a split second decision and grabbed the girl's hand. "Come with me," Anya stood up suddenly. "I can get us somewhere safe from them."

Anya's heart fluttered as she glanced toward the town. They... I hope that they can't tell, she swallowed heavily. It's the only place I know we can go.

Raven smiled and nodded. He wouldn't mind company in his own travels now. What harm could it do? And it wasn't like they were creating a pack since they were both alphas and Raven wasn't even of the same race.

"Sure, my friend. I don't mind your company. I assume the two females are fine on their own, let's not bother them. I leave our next destination up to you," Raven said as he waited for a response.

Anya's mind buzzed as she reached the edge of the forest, where the trees met the fields. To tell the truth, she hoped that the other two would follow. It had been so long since she had actually been in contact with others that, once she had gotten over the shock, it had been kind of nice. She shook her head a little to dislodge those thoughts and instead concentrated on where she was going and how to actually get into the town.

She stepped from the trees into the half-baked sunlight of a cloudy day and into the swishing, golden fields of wheat. I guess we'll make it up as we go...?
